3 Free Tools that Make it Easy to Build Your Network and Stay in Touch with Your Connections

Keeping up with all the things and still finding time to actually make new business connections beyond a basic intro is HARD.

However, when we don’t make the effort to make real connections, we miss out on opportunities and others miss out on all the genius that we could've brought to the table. Nobody wins.

I’ll be the first to admit that I’m not always the best at it...I’ve reallyyyyy struggled with getting out of my comfort zone and making time for building relationships in real life.

It’s time to get over that. I know I’m not the only one feels this way.

I know that you want to connect with other ambitious female entrepreneurs. You deeply want to collaborate, share ideas, and grow with others who get it.

But how in the world do you do actually make connections- especially when it feels easier to keep your head down and just focus on your todo list?

I’ve found a few tools that make it easier to make stronger connections with other business owners and potential clients.

Here are my favorites:

1. Calendly

I hate wasting time by going back and forth with emails to schedule a time to meet. There’s absolutely no need to do that anymore with this free and super easy to use tool.

Calendly let’s my contacts see my schedule, choose a time that works, and you can even send confirmation and reminders with their paid plan. Also, it integrates with websites and other software tools too which makes it really easy to build systems in your business.

2. Dubsado CRM

Keeping up with all the contacts you’re meeting and actually contacting them doesn’t always happen. We all have a few (or many?) business cards laying around for great people we never followed up with or waited so long that it was a bit awkward to get reintroduced.

Dubsado is an amazing tool that’s helping me not only keep my contacts close, organized, and easy to communicate with, but it’s become the backbone of my business. I also use it for collecting payments online, signing contracts, sending invoices, automating workflows, and so much more. They recently added a scheduling tool that I can’t wait to check out.

Seriously, Dubsado has saved me hours if not days of my life and it makes the experience for my connections soooo much better. The $35/month software tool actually saved me money because I didn’t have to hire a VA to do small admin tasks.

You can sign up for a free trial and get 20% off if you decide to invest in it by using my affiliate link. Here’s the link: https://www.dubsado.com/?c=savvytools

3. Zoom

Driving across town to meet isn’t the most efficient thing to do. Also, if you have clients online (or want to!) then it’s nearly impossible to meet in person without somebody paying for travel costs.

Zoom makes it easy for us to meet with the people we want to connect with via an online meeting room. All you have to do is pick a time, share your special meeting room link with your attendees, and meet virtually.

I love that we can share our computer screens and see each other face to face even if it’s from a distance.

Next steps...

With these three tools, it’s easier now than ever to make connections as a business owner or aspiring entrepreneur.

How will you use these tools to make it easier to keep in touch with your contacts? When will you begin reaching out to your connections? How often will you contact them?
